in case you're interested nivea fake tan is buy one get one free in tescos at the mo! smells nicer than johnsons and has either a fair/medium or a medium/dark choice

I've never tried any of the fake tan products - are they any good?

I just stay white until I go to Florida :lmao:

:) Hi Carol,

I always use the Garnier one, it does fair/medium as well, i havn't tried the Nivea one yet, maybe that's in incentive to give it a go, has anyone tried both? As a comparison.

Aud - haven't got sensitive skin so couldn't tell you I'm afriad.
Sue - I just like a bit of colour for the summer but being very pale I'm afriad of looking nuclear so I don't like a fake thats too orange. Its better for you than sunbeds though and moisturises too.

I've never tried any of these but might have a go, especially if they are buy 1get one free in Tesco.

If I go all streaky and orange I'll blame you Carol !! :lmao:

ok then Sue but just try them after the GGG meet! ;)

Hi Carol,

I'm very pale as well (i'm a red head) and my skin turns orange too so i hav to be careful with the products i use also. The Garnier one smells very strongly of Cammomile(sp?) I tried the Avon one once:scared1: i looked like i had been Tango'd! Same with M&S tanning wipes and Superdrug tanning wipes as well, very streaky and orange!:rolleyes1

Hope it's ok to use brand names?
Please let me know if this isn't allowed

I think the brand names thing is ok :confused3 never really thought about it I suppose, its not like we work for them or anything. yes, the wipes are streaky making, its because they sit in a packet for months and the DHA chemical that makes you tan gathers in places so you can never get a really streak free finish.

I am the worlds worse at applying fake tan, Im not much of a sunbather but do like to have a little bit of colour, but no hard how I try, it always ends up streaky and patchy. Thanks for the info Carol:thumbsup2

Audrey,

I'm a red head you know that the score we would love to be brown its not in
our genes:rotfl:

does this sound familiar

white - pink - red - peel - white - pink - red - peel:rotfl2:

the story of my life:laughing:

So for you lucky people who can tan i'm so jealous:) :lmao: :goodvibes

You need to moisturise the dry areas first:lmao: Then try to evenly apply your chosen fake tan brand ( personal perference Dove summer skin normal/dark) WASH your hands immediately if you have not used gloves, then allow to soak in for at least 20 mins. Re-apply daily making sure you keep moisturising those dry areas first. Results should be after (about 5 days) lovely even colour:thumbsup2
I'm a girl who rarely tans naturally too, more often than not I go red and blister and peel not a good look.
