Niue at the Poly??

I have never been to the Paoly. I have ressies for May... I am thinking of requesting the Niue building... Can anyone tell me about this building??? We would like to be close to the pool and main building....thank you...amy

Niue is right next to the GCH and right near both pools. But it is only a 2 story building and the 2nd floor does not have balconies. It does not have an elevator, but you can use the elevator inthe building next to it - Raratonga - and walk across the skyway to the 2nd floor of Niue.

Niue's location is great in my opinion. I do believe the entire building is smoking & as corvair said, there aren't any balconies on the 2nd floor. We loved our balcony at the Poly!

Another great location that is close to GCH & the Volcano pool is Fiji. Hope this helps!

Unless it has changed, I think Niue is non smoking. Also it has not gone through the renovations yet.

I would choose this building because we like being close to the GCH and I don't think the buildings are in bad shape right now. Have you checked out Tikimans site?

Correction.......Niue is now smoking along with some of the rooms in Tahiti (1002-1028). It looks like there have been an increase in smoking requests. So much for knocking the habit. I will let you know what else I find out.

Uh oh...I requested Niue....is all of the rooms smoking???? If that is the case,,I might at well request Samoa.....I was going to request Tokelau but thought too many requested that....any new info would be great...thanks...amy

This may be a temporary thing because Samoa is closed for rehab and was the smoking longhouse. I am trying to find out but when Samoa opens back up it will all be smoking.

Bummer. We were hoping to request Niue next December. Hope it changes back to non smoking.
