NIPS?? - this is a rather odd question

Are you allowed to bring nips into the theme parks?? If not, how thorough is their search of the backpacks?

Nips are small (shot size) bottles of ALL different kinds of alcohol.

Yes they are.

They don't allow alcohol in the parks, especially MK. They don't thoroughly go thru your backpacks, but why chance it?

If you're at Epcot you can drink your way around the world anyway.

Not sure I am the right one to ask, not much of a drinker myself. BUT I would bet that Disney would frown on nips at the park. Just a guess. If one were hidden in a big backpack I am not sure it would be found but i can't guarantee it. Maybe you could just buy a beer in Epcot and leave it at that.

some inspectors are more detailed then others. I've had security just glance into my purse and send me on my way, I've had other security guards have me open every zipper.

To answer your question...I don't know the "rule"...but since they don't serve liquor in the MK...I think they'd like to keep the guests fairly sober. heheh (Regardless...most themeparks - in and outside Florida - have a rule that you can't bring in outside liquor)

you can always hop the monorail and hit a resort for a cocktail

weather is slowly getting better (50 & sunny). yup about an hour from Boston..maybe 45 min.

Looks like you've been to WDW a few times...Any "on the spot" advice you could give to a 1st timer? I'm going with DH & 2 DD's 8 (turning the day we leave) & 10.

Jrsy Boy, that's exactly what I was thinking. I couldn't figure out how they'd make you keep them out of the park?!? I am so out of touch, lol!

If these are little glass bottles they will never make it through inspection. No glass containers are allowed at any of the parks.
