Nintendo World things outside the USH

My friend and I will have a day to do LA tourist things before the evening when we go down to Anaheim. My friend is a BIG Nintendo fan, so I was wondering if there anything outside the park (aka no tickets needed) that I can take him to?

You might find some gaming stores / arcades around though Nintendo World won't be opening officially until 2023, as far as we're aware.

Nope. That merch is exclusively available inside the park. You need park admission to get to it.
