nintendo ds in the parks

Does anyone bring their Nintendo 3DS to the park to use streetpass? Assuming it is in a bag of some type, does it hold up well on rides? Have you gotten many streetpass hits at the parks? I am looking forward to picking up the new disney game Friday and thought I would try bringing it in the park.

We tried once. Only a couple of hits. Wasn't worth the risk of something happening to it to ever take it again. We lock them in the resort safe now.

I've carried mine around a few times and never got many StreetPasses - never even filled up 10 in one day. It holds up just fine, it's probably the sturdiest piece of personal electronics I own, but it's not really worth the extra weight in my bag.

I will be there for Easter week, so I expect high crowds. I also wonder if the release of a Disney game the day before I go might help, too. I think maybe I will try it one day and see.

First week of December last year... in six hours, got ten tags, and it was a slow day. We completely forgot to clear them out once they filled up, though, so we probably would have gotten more.
