Nintendo DS deals

Hi!
I am looking for a DS or DS bundle for Christmas. Has anyone seen a good deal? I have been reviewing the Black Friday Ads but haven't seen anything yet. Thanks for your help!

The only prices I can find don't seem to be "deals" at all. Toys R Us has the lites for129.99 and dsi for 169.99, same as everyone else. Walmart is 129.00 for ds (159 for bundles/starter packs) and dsi for 169 (197 for bundles/starter packs).

This probably isn't much help, since these aren't deals really. I'm hoping someone else will have some bargains to pass along!

Where can I find the Black Friday ads?

Thank you! I just found a Walmart bundle for $149 with acceptable games. Not much else!!

QVC has bundles that are 199.00.

Check the Dell site. They have been running game system sales and free shipping. The dsi was $129.99 in black 2 weeks ago.

Toys r' us has a DS Lite Pokemon bundle this week for 139.97 (ds lite, Pokemon themed essentials kit and pokemon themed stylus). There was also a coupon for a free $10 gift card on purchases of $75 or more in yesterday's ad circular.

I have a 3 1/2 year old and none of the bundles had age appropriate games for him. Also didn't want to spend that much on a new one with his age. I found plenty of really nice used ones on Ebay for $70-$90. I bought one for $85 and it is basically brand new. No scratches or anything. Works great. I also bought some used games at Gamestop and an accessory kit. All total spent about $125 which is better than any of the bundles I have seen.

Ours didn't have that special and we've been watching like a hawk for this thing. We got a bundle about 3 weeks ago that was a pink DSlite, a fashion game and a jewelry box that is actually for holding games and such for just under $150. This was a TRU deal in the ad.

I was just at Sam's Club. Picked up a DS Girl Time Fun Bundle with Nintendogs, PurrPals, stylus, game case and bling kit. It was marked down from $199 to $149. When I got the to register, it was marked down even more. I got it for $99.81. You might want to check that out. Not sure how many they had. They also had a boy kit but I didn't look to close at it since I only have girls.

Please pardon my ignorance, buy could someone explain the difference between the DS, the DSi, and the DS Lite? I know nothing about these things, but my son has decided to add one to his Xmas list. I don't think he knows the difference either. He just knows his friends have them and he would like to ask Santa for one.

DS is no longer made...

DS Lite is the newer model of the DS, same functionality, but smaller package and brighter screens.

DSi is more expensive, has slightly larger screens, 2 cameras and no Gameboy Advance slot (to play Gameboy Advance games, the DS Lite has this... though games are hard to find now)

Thats the general differences, as I recall. We went DS Lite, because I have an old DS and some GBA games.
