The other morning I watched a 30 minute infomercial about this Ninja Foodi Grill, I just couldn't turn away. I think I want this thing? Does any one have it? Does anyone recommend another brand? I like the grill and air fryer features, and don't have an instapot, but I do love my crock pot. So, can anyone please tell me what appliance I really should be looking at? TIA :)

I'm more curious about people's experience with the Ninja thingy and how they use it and then I can see if I want/need one. that's the thing....I don't know what its good for.

I think you need to determine what you'd like to use it for, and what you know you will use it for. Because it's cool to see Jet Tila make a pizza in the device, but are you actually gonna use it to make a tiny pizza, or are you more likely to use the oven for something like that?

As for function, I'm pretty confident that it will do everything that it says it can do, but you have to be committed to using it... and stick with it, even when it doesn't quite get the same results a celebrity chef gets from a taped infomercial.

I’ve seen them in Kohl’s. They don’t seem very big but from what I’ve read lurking in the FB groups they’re pretty heavy. Do you need/want an air fryer/grill combo? I’ve given it very brief consideration but I have Delonghi grill I can do a ton more with, that has more surface area as far as I can tell and it’s easier to store.

Air frying seems to be the new thing to do. But I have nothing to air fry.

I do use a sous vide for cooking steaks. Buts that all I use it for. They’re usually on sale at Amazon on either Black Friday or prime day.

I also have an instant pot. But all that I use that for stews.

We have one. I thought it did a pretty good job on steaks and chicken. I definitely prefer an actual grill, but where I live grilling outside in the winter is a challenge.

I absolutely love mine and bought it to go with my Ninja Foodi. The air fryer in it is great and the grill is as well. Between the two i could never turn my stove or oven on if i choose not to.

I've had decent success with indoor grilling using the Rock reversible stovetop grill by Heritage (no relation to The Rock).

Have had an air fryer for about a year. Bought the Ninja Grill last week on Amazon. The air fryer is a air fryer, nothing special there. The grill works pretty dang good. Have done burgers, chicken, and steak on it. Is it the same as an outdoor grill? No, but it gets the job done. Should be good during the middle of the winter and I want a grilled burger or steak.

Bought the dehydration rack for it and am going to try doing bananas overnight with it.
