I'm looking for a fun nighttime activity for DH, DS(12) & me. We usually spend our evenings in Epcot, or have a late dinner, then back to FW to watch Wishes and EWP. I'm looking for something not in the parks. Also, our whole family hates to shop. We're having dinner at RFC @ AK, then I'm looking for something a little different and alot of fun for us all, but especially DS (12 going on 25 :earboy2: ) Be creative & give me your best shot. :wave2:

Have you tried DisneyQuest at DTD? I have never been, but it sounds like a really neat place, probably especially so for a 12 yo boy.

Yeah, we've been to DQ, and he loves it. He and DH have already planned to spend an entire day there. Thanks for the suggestion though. :) Any more?

The Boardwalk. There are a number of places to hang - some adult (like Jellyrolls) but ESPN, while a bar/restaurant, is the type of place you can bring a 12 year old into (just not too late when the drunks become more numerous). The Boardwalk has street entertainment and games as well.

I personally hate the idea of kids at Pleasure Island, but it is allowed. The Comedy Club and Adventurers Club will be open to him in your company.

For a really grown up time, several of the lounges (the Bellevue Room at the Boardwalk for instance) would be a great place for a soda (or drink for the gorwn ups) and a game of cards.

How about the campfire and movie at FW?

or instead of a monorail drink-a-thon, you do arcades, snacks or pressed penny machines with the ride. Take the time to wait for the front of the monorail on one leg of the trip.
