Nights of Joy?

OK.......I'm lost......I have seen a few posts about "nights of Joy" and I am totally clueless.......what is it exactly? When is it? Where is it??

Any info to expand my knowledge will be greatly appreciated!!

I am not sure when Night of Joy is. It is at the Magic Kingdom. They have a bunch of different Christian Groups at the different stages in the park. The park will close early on the Night of Joy night(s) (if I remember correctly it is more than one night). That night the park is full of Church Youth Groups.

Night of Joy is two nights of Contemporary Christian Music Concerts at Magic Kingdom. It is a seperately ticketed event (like MVMCP) and they close MK early to the general public. It will be on September 5th and 6th, 2003.

If you're a fan of CCM, it's a fantastic time - some of the biggest names in the business performing multiple shows. If you are not a fan, stay far away, it is not like an e-night. It always sells out, and the park is packed with teens and pre-teens.

It is held in the MK around the beginning of September on a Friday and Saturday night.. It is a Christian event which requires special tickets. The park is closed to everyone else. If I remember correctly if you buy a ticket for both nights you get a small reduction in price. Each night they have a different line-up of Christain preformers. Usually it is a mix of all types of music from up to date hip hop type of music to the standard Christain music. It is not just for youth groups.
there are all ages there.

I will tell you it gets very crowded. As with disney they have different items for sale, pins, T-shirts Hats, etc with thelogo from that night. If you like Christaion music, it is a nice place to listen to it. Each time we have gone when you leave they hand you a CD from a preformer for free. Actually both my husband and myself got one. We have gone for several years now, and wish we could go back again this year, but for a couple of reasons can not make it.
