Nightmare - Villa Double Booked

Hi All

Major Dosage of Pixie Dust required!!!

The lady who we have booked our villa with phoned us last night to say that her and her husband have both booked the villa to different people for next week!!!

She is trying to find an alternative with some of the other owners nearby, but as we stand it all looks a little gloomy to say the least.

Will keep you all posted but as it stands we are not sure how is holiday is looking, even though we booked it 16 months ago.

Oh my goodness, this happened to me before its awful !! It was a genuine mistake on the part of the owner (Ithink) Anyway you should call Elle at Florida Homes and Travel on 0500 50 50 87 she has access to hundreds of villas and will help you to find another.

I hope that you get this sorted, she should let the family that booked it first stay there that would seem fair to me - keep positive, something will come up

Panic over ........ maybe

Just chased up the villa owner who has arranged for us to stay two doors down in a villa that she used to own and sold to her friend.

I have looked at the info on the web and it looks pretty simular, if anything it may be slightly more modern and a nicer pool seating area.

We are obviously very releved that she has sorted something out but still a little doubious as we booked this villa specifically due to personal recommendations from people who have stayed there a few times.

Thank you for your well wishes and pixie dust, fingers crossed that there are no more hitches and the replacment villa is up to scratch.

That seems so unfair - I expect you asked why the other family are allowed to go and you have had to change? Good luck to you anyway I hope you still enjoy your holidays, the upset is not what you want just before you go. Still sending to you.
