Sorry if there are already current thread(s) on this that I did not yet see.

Has anyone seen this movie? It starts tomorrow! (I think it has been released in 3D in the past).

We are going to Disney this Sunday, and might add this to our agenda to see it at AMC.

It is also playing at a local theather near us, so we can check it out at home too.

What is it like? Is it worth taking time out (and $) to see it?

Thanks!

I could be wrong, but I thought that was only for one night, the 19th?

3D movies have come a long way! They look fabulous, so if you're a fan of this movie, I think it's worth a trip to the theater.

Finally, the website listed above is showing the theaters in my town. For the longest time it didn't have any listed. I can't wait to see this!

I wouldn't waist Disney Time on it but it is worth to see at home.

My family and I saw it last alloween. NOT TO BE MISSED! It is amazing and is now in year two of a Halloween family tradition! Make sure that you see it in
3-D There is nothing like it!

:hippie:

Cool, maybe I will go see it this weekend b-4 I fly down to disney on Sunday. That will get me in the mood.....:woohoo: halloween party again on Tuesday!

So, do they like give you Souvenier 3D glasses? Probably the little cardboard things, right?

The only 3D movies I've ever seen were at Disney!

(and a couple of tv shows - like "Medium" where they came in the TV Guide!") :lmao:
thanks
mary

Yes, when we saw Meet the Robinson's 3D got to keep the glasses, but no, they are not cardboard, they are plastic.

But, be prepared to "pay" for these glasses. Usually a 3D movie ticket is pricier than a regular ticket! (Similar to seeing an IMAX movie.)

Definately worth seeing!! My husband and I (both in 30's) went last year and really enjoyed the movie. It's really neat in 3D.

Me and my friend are going to see it tomorrow night. I missed it last year unfortunatly, but I'm extremely excited to see it this year! Its my favorite movie!

We saw it last year, and it was great. If you are a fan of the movie, you will love the 3D version. Go see it!

Thanks Everyone!

We are going to see it tomorrow (Saturday). We have quite an age range too.

Ages: 4, 6, 16, 32, 42 !! If we go in the afternoon we'll save some $. It is $7.75 for adults & $7.25 for kids (after 6pm it's $10)

Will let you know how it went after we get back!
thanks again!

We (me, daughter and 2 nephews) saw it last year and in 3D it is AWESOME! We're all huge fans of the movie and the showtunes in it. The price is a bit steep so if that's an issue try to see it during a matinee showing. It is the best 3D movie presentation I've ever seen. :thumbsup2

thanks for askin! I am going tomorrow and am glad to hear it's worth the time and $$ to see the 3D version...

what a way to gear up for my WDW visit next week..now I just gotta find my Haunted Mansion DVD. :)

I'm so glad to hear this! DD is crazy about this movie and is even going as Sally to the MNSSHP. We're going to surprise her and see it tonight. There aren't any theaters in our area showing it so we have to drive about 40 minutes away.

I saw it last time it came out and it was AMAZING!! Unfortunately, I was exhausted when I went and fell asleep for a little while... I'm definitely going to see it again this time - and I'll get a huge Coke to keep me awake :)

I JUST saw this...I got back half an hour ago. :cloud9:

I LOVE TNBC, and all of Tim Burton's work. I have been waiting to see this movie since last year when I heard it was going to come here. It's only playing in two places in Canada, and thankfully I'm in one of the cities. :woohoo:

For me it was $11.75, which is almost as much as an IMAX movie, but I don't mind paying that much to see one of my favourite movies in 3D. I guess it depends on how much you like the movie and if you don't mind shelling out the money for it. And you do get to keep your 3D glasses, which are the kind like you'd get at a ride like PhilharMagic. They're slightly larger though, and look just like sun glasses.

I will more than likely end up seeing it again.

Does the movie REALLY look 3-D, or is it like Shark Boy and Lava Girl 3-D? lol
