We have actually seen Hallowishes - that was amazing. I def don't feel it's all about the rides....I'm more in to the characters and walking around the parks. I do love the rides, but I don't go to Disney for the rides. I truly go for the magic. 
But, I do like the day light better than the evening. I could spend hours on Main St....I just love being there. I guess my thing with the nighttime shows is they always seem so stressful...getting to the right spot for a good view super early and finding the right spot for a good view. But, I definitely want to do more of the night time activities this trip. Maybe MK electrical parade followed by Wishes and then a night for Fantasticmic. Thanks for all the input!
