night vision goggles at AKL

We understand that there are night vision goggles available at AKL. Are they rented? What's the availability? Where and how do you get them? Thanks for your help.

I don't know about getting them there, but I can tell you I bought 2 pair from LTD Commodoties for my nephew and my sons friend. They are so cool. They were 8.95/pr plus shipping. I recommend checking out LTD if you are interested.

They are not for rent. A guide has them from 9pm -11pm and you take turns looking through them. They are cool - they make it look like daytime but everything is green colored.

They are cool , when we went 2 weeks ago , there was a line each night to try them. they had 1 pair of goggles and we all lined up and tok a minute to look through them.

The night vision apparatus I got to use was actually a telescoping type of thing. It was really neat.
