What night time activities/events are there for young children? I'm looking for the Universal equivalent to Spectro/fireworks at Disney. Is there anything like that at Universal?

Jess

During peak times they have fireworks displays and they have the Macy's parade at x-mas time, but I do not know of any other parades and the fireworks are, as stated, only in peak times.

We'll be there the week before Easter (April 4-8). Do you think they will have fireworks? Is it a display worth fighting the crowds for?

Thanks...I love these boards.

Fireworks usually start July4th and run thru August.
Don't think they run in April.

That's ok, the kids will be tired at the end of the day. Go back to your room and let them watch a Disney movie while you slam some beers. Go to bed early so you can get up early the next day.

At City Walk, they have some kiddie rides, and a square that shoots water in the air. Kids run thru it, getting wet, having a good time. I think they'll be worn out by the end of the day.

Thanks for the replies.

My kids are Disney vets. We'll have a Fairy Godmother 2 nights but the other 2 nights they will definately be up for staying out late. It's not a huge deal if there isn't anything "special" at night though. I'm sure just seeing the parks with all the lights will be exciting enough (their first Universal trip). With FOTL (we're at Hard Rock) we'll be fine doing some favorite rides again.

I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. We're used to the big night time finale at the Disney parks.
