Night time Safari question?

I was reading some updates on Pandora Avater AK expansion and someone in the comments mentioned "I am surprised they are trying a night time safari again, it was a disaster when they tried it years ago"

Is that true? Did they try a night time safari once before? Is so, what are the details..what was the disaster? How long did it last?

Did anyone try it? I have never heard of the trying this
