Night Time Safari FP vs. JB

I have never done a dining package before so I have a question. I have a FP booked for the night safari for 9:05. I was just able to get my TH ADR swapped for the dining package with dinner at 5:45, just 20 minutes off from what I had originally scheduled. My question is that is says "Jungle Book 1st Show". I didn't see a place to select 1st or second showing. I would much prefer the later showing so it doesn't conflict with the fast pass. Is this something I can change when we go to dinner or am I better off trying to move the FP? Night safari is probably more important to us, but we would like to see the show. Thanks!

I would leave it completely . You have till 10:05. If the show ends at 9:30, you should have time to get there.

Thanks! I wasn't sure of an end time and we were hoping to do the safari as late as possible (we want to see it truly dark).

I would bump the FP back a smidge, if possible. Just to give you a cushion. We have no idea what it's going to be like getting out of the JB theater stands.

FYI: the reviews from the media preview for the nighttime safari were not good. Said you can barely see the animals and the screens don't provide much light. Apparently real sunset time is the better time from all I've seen and read.
