tell me about evening/ dusk dark experiences in the park
going in January so will have more night hours to explore. any must-do's

Astro Orbiter 100% "Must Do" at night a few times.
TOT as well.

I kinda really like the view of the castle at the top of Splash at night. I wanna get a picture, but...gotta be REALLY quick.

Slinky at night has some great views, too.

I can't say I've ever done Everest at night, but I'd bet when you get to the broken track, if you're in the front row, you can see a bunch of Epcot lit up.

IMO is he best part of Everest at night is that, because your eyes are adjusted to the dark, you can see the Yeti MUCH better! It also seems to go faster because the track is pretty dark and it kinda feels like you’re just hurtling into the darkness. It’s really great.

Astro-Orbiter is a must for us after dark.

This is something I did not consider but sounds awesome!!

MK:
*People Mover
*7DMT
*BTMM

DHS:
*ToT

AK:
*Safari
*EE

Safari? can you see anything?

this makes me want to cry!! both previous trips EE was down due to rain on our AK day and I have never ridden it EVER!!

AND, its down for refurb our whole late Jan trip :(

Ugh, SO sorry for that!! It’s my favorite Disney ride. I will say this…if you ever get caught in rain (not lightning) at AK again, make your way to EE and get in line. It’s a great place to grab a snack and then take shelter, and then you’ll be right in line when it opens up!! And I may be hallucinating but it seemed even faster on a wet track.

But my opinion on the safari…..no, you can’t see Jack squat and that was a total waste of time for us, unless you’re just killing time.

Hi, The Jungle Cruise and the TTA peoplemover for me offered a different experience at dusk/ night. The Liberty Square Riverboat was good at dusk

MK - 7DMT, Splash, BTMRR, People Mover, have not done Jungle Cruise, but it would be fun
AK - EE, have not done Safari in the evening
HS - ToT. SDD is amazing with all the lights
EPCOT - TT, the rest don't matter

My favorites are Thunder Mountain and Jungle Cruise. It's almost spooky at night. Also, there is something about entering and exiting Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, and PotC at night, it's so much better than stepping out into the bright sun.

I’ll second this but I’ll add Splash as my absolute favorite.

BTMRR is my must-do. I love People-mover, too - you get great views of the lit-up castle that way! I've only done Jungle Cruise at night, and it definitely had a fun spooky adventure quality, but then Adventureland is my favourite area at night.

I second SDD at DHS. With the lights it's really cool.

And I've never tried Everest at night because we only ever do AK in the morning, but I've added it to my list for the upcoming trip!
