Anyone been in the past? Where are the stages at? Can you get into the park prior to 7:30pm? We have a AR for dinner at 5:45! Thanks!

Everyone must be busy this holiday weekend, just giving this a little bump to the top.

OH and can we take pictures and video of the concerts??

Thanks Bob! I have read that and it doens't answer my questions at all.

I'll try to answer your questions, but it's been awhile since I've been.

As far as entering the park before 7:30, if you hold tickets only for NOJ, then no. In fact, they clear the park out at about that time and the gates open at 9:00 for NOJ ticket holders only. Of course, you can go to MK earlier...but you still have to leave when they clear the park, and then come back in for the event.

Last time I went, the "main stage" was in front of the castle, they had stages in Tomorrowland (over between Buzz and COP, I believe), and Adventureland (outside of POC). There may be others, but those are the ones I remember. The artists are on rotating schedules--in other words, one band may play at 9:30, another at 11:00, and another at 12:00, all on the same stage. Look for the "headline" acts (Steven Curtis Chapman, MercyMe, etc...) to rotate on the main stage.

Hope this helps!

My best friends and I are going for the first time to Night of Joy( both nights) and we can't wait!!!!! And I was wondering the same things you had ? on.

I did hear that we can get into the park at 4:00p.m. with just are Night of Joy ticket and then they will give us a wristband, so they know we are there for Night of Joy.

Like I said, it's been awhile since I've gone, so they may have changed that policy.

I know that was one of the big gripes about NOJ compared to Rock the Universe...you could enter Universal at 4 and stay until 1am, as opposed to just 4 hours at Disney.

I have read a few times now that you do get to enter at 4pm with just the NOJ ticket, so that is good! I hope it holds true for this year as well.

Anyone know if we can take pictures and video though?

My son went last year and they had NOJ tickets and they got in everyday around 2 and stayed until 1 or 2 am. So you should not have a problem getting to your 5:45 ADR...

Last year, I was told we could get in around 4:30 or so. We had theme park tickets, so it didn't matter.

You can take pictures of the concerts, but no video.

Anita

Man, I would love to go to NOJ. I have always wanted to go, but this time of year is not convenient for our family. :( I hope you all have a most wonderful time.

Well that stinks! Oh well, pictures will have to do.

Just wanted to bump this thread up, to see how many DISner's will be at Night of Joy this year.............

Hey, I have a question, in case some is lurking that has gone in the past couple years. I saw on ebay that someone was selling the signs that were at the stages, stating the times and bands. All of them had each band playing twice. Like at 7:30 and 10:30pm. IS this how is it done, each plays twice?

Yes, both nights now. Just ordered the 9th tickets yesterday. We were going to just do the 10th and do the 9th at Universal for MWSmith. But we are seeing him next month, so figured we would do all Disney. The 9th has the better line up anyway. We were doing the 10th for Newsboys!!!

I was just looking at some website with pictures though and it does seem that each band does two performances each night, on the same stage!

MemoryMaker, we are also going for both nights! I agree the 9th has the better line up by far! I pretty much love everyone that is going to be there on the 9th, I have a feeling we are going to be running all around the park to see them all! LOL A lot of the ones on the 10th I don't know who they all are, I only know a couple of them. I am also looking forward to the Newsboys on the 10th!

What website are you looking at( I would love to see some pictures)? Thanks

Are any rides running during this even for the NOJ ticket holders?
