Has anyone ever been to night of joy. a few of us moms are going in september. Never been to this event. anything about it would be great. :cool1:

I have gone for the past few years, and it is a blast!!! Only those with NOJ passes are allowed in, so you aren't fighting with all of the tourists that go to MK. The lines for rides are alot shorter, I must have done Buzz like four times in a row! Hearing Christian music over speakers is great when just walking in the park, and also seeing concerts is just great. I know when I go this year, I am definitely going to check out MercyMe for a long time, and probably TobyMac, those two for sure. I know my GF will go nuts if/when Nicole Nordeman ever plays there. But overall, it is just an absolute blast, nothing like being wrapped in a huge blanket of great Christian music along with the Magic of Disney.

I am going this year, for the first time( I can't wait)!!!!!! :Pinkbounc My best friend and I and another really good friend of mine are all going to Disney World and Night of Joy together! We will be there Sept. 8-12,2005 and we will be going both nights to the Night of Joy! I just called WDW and ordered are tickets, so we are all set to go( now we just have to wait for Sept. to get here)!

Here is another website, that has a lot of good info. on the Night of Joy:

I just buy tickets for the concerts. Last year, my GF and I went to all three nights. We have friends that live in Orlando, so we crashed there. We went to the first night's concerts, then we went to DQ on friday, NOJ that night, then to MK all Saturday, including NOJ. A lot of Hidden Mickey searching went on in those few days.

I was at NOJ in 97, and it was INSANE. I loved the concert, but the crowds were massive, mostly young adults (who were a bit rowdy) I saw the line up for this year and I wish wish WISH I could go as Steven Curtis is my absolute favorite, with MercyMe and Casting Crowns in a tie for second, but my school schedule won't allow it. :sad2: DH and I will be there four days later. But hey, at least I get to go to WDW!!
