I booked a trip to Disney World Sept 3rd - 10th. From what I seen The Night of Joy will be taking place the 8th and the 9th.

Does this make the parks very crowded? I read that they close MK early for the concerts so there will be no Wishes fireworks on those nights. Is this true? I want to know so I can decide which parks on what day. Does this effect Pleasure Island at all? We planned on going out on Friday night but we may change our minds if it is way over crowded.

I guess it's a Christian music festival they have every year ( please correct me if I'm wrong ) after the parks close they have concerts with Christian music groups. I had never heard of it before either

Yes, it's a Christian music festival. I've never been at that time but I do know from reading up on it that it's very popular with the older teen/young adult set.
