Night added to beginning of stay...split stay

We are arriving early the day before our CSR reservation. We have decided to stay at POP for a night. My question is if we reserve this room separately can we add a day of tickets to our original reservation and use them that day at POP? We do not have dining so that isn’t an issue. TIA!

Do you have a package (CSR room + tickets) or a CSR room only reservation and tickets purchased separately?

Did you purchase tickets from Disney or a third party reseller?

Maybe you can call and have the ticket linked to the pop reservation

If you add a day to your CSR package tickets, you can activate them early. Alternatively, you could re-book CSR as room only and book length of stay tickets with Pop. Or even book two room only’s and buy your tickets at a discount via a third party like UT.

We have a package with resort and tickets with park hopper. We just want to be able to add a day to the tickets and use it the 1st day at POP. Also, will our maigic bands work on this day?

Your MBs will work. Last year we did what you are doing - had a stay at POR added a day 2 days before we left at WL. We didn't originally plan to add a day of tickets, but it was too cheap to pass up, so the morning we woke up at WL we added a day and went to MK without FPs. We had a wonderful time.

We went ahead and booked POP for the day we arrive. Now I am wondering if I should link it to my MDE account or leave it separate. I don’t want to mess up our CS reservations that starts the next day with our park tickets. Our 1st dat at CS is July 11th.

No reason to not link it.

You can do one of two things with tickets. You can call and add a day to the package tickets. Or you can add a day to them once you’re there, during your trip.

There are many other searchable lists for how to get your package tickets early. Find those. I’ve lost track of where the posts are.

But the one thing you need to know is that you will NOT be able to pre-arrange FP+s for your (new) first day. Once you have them in hand you can make the FP+ for that first day, but not before.
