Nigara Falls

We are traveling from Mid Ohio to Nigara Falls. Any other kid friendly places /attractions to stop along the way or near by in Ohio and NY?

If you are passing through Erie, Pa, they have Splash Lagoon there and also Presque Isle. Erie aslo has an outlet mall for shopping. Outside of Niagara Fall, in Grand Island, NY, they have Fantasy Island. It is an amusement park that is geared for younger children. Buffalo also has a zoo, science museum, and Darien Lake (larger amusement park).

If I knew the ages of the kids and the path you were using it might be easier to give some ideas.

If you've never been the Rock and Roll hall of Fame in Cleveland is pretty cool. Shouldn't take you too long several hands on things to do. Aferwards you could blow off some steam at the park they have in the back by Lake Erie.

Will you be passing through western Pennsylvania? If so, Idlewild Park is in Ligonier, PA (about an hour from Pittsburgh). It's a great amusement park for younger children.
