I'm sorry this is stressing you out! I know for so many people (including myself) that dealing with your significant others family can easily become the biggest source of tension. Since she is letting you stay with her for awhile, she cannot feel super negatively towards you, and hey, at least it is saving you money (that can go towards other things....like a DFTW??!!???). I hope everything works out and you start to feel better!

I can't believe some of the things your DFMIL said to you, hopefully she now realizes how stupid some of the things she said were and is trying to make things right by letting you guys live there until you find your own place? Aww Nicole I am so sorry you are going through this. Your FMIL sounds exactly like my EXFMIL!!! She blamed me for my exhusband not finishing is masters IMMEDIATELY after his bachelors and said I forced him into marrying me. It is so hard to not get along with your FIL's but just remember that you Df loves you and that's all that matters. You can't control what other people do (I'm still learning this one!) and that sometimes you just have to be the bigger person no matter how much it hurts or makes you angry. It's admirable that you do your best to get along with your FMIL for the sake of your child.

i agree with you. i like the longer dress, but overall i want my BMs to like it and feel comfy in it. so in the end its up to them.

Hi! I am late getting to your PJ, but I love everything! The second BM dress is my favorite, but I love that blue color. It is definitely very AIW.

Also, your son is so darn cute. That's awesome that he is a swimmer! I grew up in Florida, so I am all for kids who love the water!

As for the FMIL, I think it will be hard living in her house, but hopefully it won't take too long. And I think you will just need to figure out how to handle a lot of the things she says and does. My FMIL is wonderful, but I get very nervous when we tell her things sometimes because her thing is that "she has a right to give her opinion." Luckily, DF's answer is always, "and we have a right not to take it." I think about that response every time she makes a comment about something we're doing. It seems like it takes her a while to process big announcements too, so I always have to plan for that.
You'll be fine as long as you and Mike stick together!

I love your dress as well. It's so fun and I think that if I had gone shopping in a bridal salon, I would have ended up with something similar! Very pretty.

Thanks! i love the color as well. as for my future move, im still nervous as ever but i really like your DF motto. i think i may barrow that one every now and then. it might help me get through some really tough times (hoping that there only a few)

so today is a very big day (as least for DF) he is meeting with the recruiter for the Air Force. he is getting information and lots of his questions answered, but out of all his questions the one i want him to get an answer for is..... would it be better to get married before or after he enters the air force?
if the answer is
after= then we keep our original date of Febuary 9, 2011 at WDW
before= then we have 5 months to plan a wedding! and then we have to decide if we want wdw or something more simple.
