Nicknames

OMG, I have so many! People must just look at me & think I need a nn!?!?!?

I've shortened my name to Mary-- family calls me Mary-Kay(the really old ones can't remember & call me Mary Pat, Mary Beth, etc..)

My dad used to call me Mary-Katie

I've been called Mert, Bert, Marvin & still do sometimes.

My dh calls me Pumpkin which my ds has now inherited.

My ds calls me Sunshine or Sugarplum.

A coworker now calls me Mary Alice (insert ln) while another just calls me Alice (insert ln)

Ok, Sherry I think this is worse than Bunky-- my mom used to call me Mary- Kittle-Dittle-- which my brother "Chuckie Doodle" likes to call me by or his version Mary-Kitzinsy-Ditzinsy.

ETA: I think you win, Bunky Bubble Butt might be worse!

In college I was known as "Boyscout" by my friends because I was always prepared during music rehearsals - but I was neve rin the boyscouts at all. Either way, it stuck, so they still call me Boyscout. Doesn't bother me at all. I kind of like it.

Sassy by my niece and everyone else now.

Chilly by my husband (not as bad as it sounds - Carney is my maiden name and he automatically thinks Chile con Carne).

Oh Bunky? Not so bad. I was called Duck Bu** in high school. Thank goodness that one didn't stick!
