We spent 2 nights at the the Nickelodeon Kids Suite and my son had the TIME OF HIS LIFE! he got slimed THREE times! I've never seen him have so much fun.
The only complaint I have is that the rooms look NOTHING like they are advertised! we got a 2 room kids suite and it was TINY! there was one master bedroom which was ok but the kids bunkbed room was so small I'd almost call it a CLOSET! my kids hated it. Helen

Thanks for sharing. Any tips on the pool or the breakfast? We are going for the first itme in Dec, before heading over to SSR. We will be there a week.

Mom is a Holiday inn employee so we got an incredible deal.

Will have 2 kids, 10& 12

What is a MUST know?

Going to be there for 2 days in 2 weeks, any info / tips would be appreciated :goodvibes

the kid's room is definately cramped. the rest of the suite is about average size. what the Nick Hotel lacks in room size, they make up with activities for the family. we love it.

We went to the morning breakfast with Spongebob etc. and it was pretty cute. Everyone comes to your table accept for Spongebob...he stays stationary in one part of the room but you can still go hug him and have your picture taken with him.
Your best bet is to check with the hotel for special times during the day that they have pool activities. My son got picked for one of their "shows"...like Slime Time on Nickelodeon where he got to compete with another kid to get slimed and I was so excited that he won! I've never seen a kid so happy to get SLIMED! he won two other times which just made his whole trip special.
the pools are really great and for those parents who are watching thier kids there is a nice little cabana bar right off the pools where you can get both Alcoholic or non drinks.
Who ever is still going.....have a great time being a kid again! Helen

Forget the kids, I love this place!! Yes, the kid's room is small but really you only sleep there so who cares. I love how everyone is so friendly and everything is so much fun. The kids have such a great time. We have been 2x and I don't think we will ever stay at a Disney resort again. My best tip is to get a room on the lagoon pool side, it is the better of the 2 pools with more action since there is the water tower there. They are great about accomodating your room requests too. I wanna go back!!!!

In December, it can be "iffy" as to whether or not you might want to brave the pool.

the pools are heated to the mid-80's, running back to your room can be chilly in December.

And climbing the waterslides can be a bit nip.
Yep, not for me . . .

I am so glad to hear that the kids love it so much. I added 3 nights here to the end of our April 07 trip, so we can have a couple days of just hanging out, no parks, and still the kids will be busy. :goodvibes
