Nickelodeon Hotel in December??

Thinking of staying here the first week of December, but worried if it will be too cold to enjoy the pool. Has anyone travelled to Fla in December? What are the temps like?

temperate wildly vary. It is hard to predict.

the days can be in the high 80's (almost 90) or at low at the 40's.

nights can be in 60's or low as the 30's.

it has been all the above when we visited.

most trips were fine 80/70 in the day - 60/50 at night - fine for swimming.

but Nov, Dec and Jan are just too hard to predict.

BRING EVERYTHING.

there are days when you are almost freezing followed immediately by days when you are sweating in your shorts.

and I mean immediately - one day the low was in 30's, next day the low was in 70's....

We went to WDW the 1st week of Dec. in '01. We stayed at Nickhotel, which at that time was Holiday Inn Family Suites. The weather that trip was the best we have ever experienced in Fla, 80 - 84, and not a drop of rain. Although I found out after that that week was unseasonably warm for Dec. Anyway, the pools at Nick are both heated, it all depends on the air temperature as to whether you want to swim. We swam every day. Hope you have as nice weather as we did!
