Nickelodeon Family Suites....would like your opinion!!

Our family just got back from the Nick Hotel. We stayed there 9 days. The kids (age 8 and 11) loved the hotel. The pools and slides are a waterpark in itself. The staff was so friendly and courteous. Everytime I turned a corner someone was saying hi. This is definately a kid hotel. We have previously stayed on disney property at the Wilderness Lodge a few times. I would have to admit that I prefer to stay on disney property just for the convenience of transportation and such. The Nick Hotel was very clean everywhere - I was impressed by that - seeing that there is soooo many kids around. It was also nice to have the extra space in the hotel room since there is a small living room and kitchen area-that did come in handy. Overrall, I would recommend this hotel if you have children. It is a nice hotel to add to a disney trip for a change. The kids loved swimming here after a long day in the parks. They NEVER complained once.

We have reservations here for April 2-7 and after reading all of these descriptions, I am not so sure we shouldn't just rent a pool home instead. My major concerns are: Price (we are paying $200 a night WHICH INCLUDES the 20% off best flex rate discount--this was the best price we could get), food, and cleanliness. Someone convince me to keep the reservations. I just checked the website for nickhotel and the prices they are showing now are from $260 a night for advance purchase to $325 for the Best Flex Rate!!! OMG!!! There is NO WAY I would pay that...Someone convince me to keep this reservation, please! My kids really do want to go, but I am really wondering if it is worth it??

Why dont you do it for a night or two? Try it out you might like it. We didnt enjoy it but you might love it. Do a pool home then try the Nick for a night at the end. We payed 291.00 when we went and we just felt it wasnt worth it. You can stay at a deluxe for that ! Good luck!

I believe $300/nt. I was looking for the end of Oct. (def not busy season) and was quoted a rate of $250/nt :scared1: .
