nick hotel family suites holiday inn

We're actually going to stay there for 2 nights before we head over to GF. THe kids are dying to stay there since they see the commercials constantly on Nick Jr. I think we'll just do Sea World when we're there and save Disney for our GF stay.

We stayed last summer when it was just Holiday Inn Family Suites and LOVED it! We are planning a trip back 1st of June. The kidsuites are wonderful, and the new waterslides look amazing! My children don't want to stay anywhere else. They are even willing to give up Discovery cove just to stay there!! Our stay was wonderful and we are very excited to be going back.

When are you going to be staying there? We are thinking of staying here for 5 days during our Universal part of the trip then off to disney for a week.

We are booked for one night before heading over to the poly. I can't wait to see this hotel in person. It really looks like a blast! Have to do the spongebob breakfast. I wonder what kind of games they do by the pool and what the nightly entertainment is?

I wish I could see the commercial you'all are talking about. We watch nick jr. in the mornings and I have yet to catch one. Anyone have an exact time or guesstimate on when they've seen this commercial? When I made my ressie's I asked for a paper confirmation to come in the mail and they actually sent me a brochure of the hotel and it looks like such a blast!

It will be interesting to see what kind of reviews come out after the official grand opening. so far on trip advisor the reviews have not been all that great!

I saw the commercial for the first time yesteday in the 6pm time frame. I don't watch cartoons but was letting my son watch it while I planning my Disney Trip.

The web site looks cool, and I must admit it looks like fun.

However most of it seems geared towards kids ages 7 or 8 and up. I didn't see any of the nick Jr guys at all.

The prices didn't seem too bad for what you got either.

Maybe when the kids are older.

The hotel offers a character breakfast, just click the icon on the holiday Inn website for details--they have Dora and Boots, Spongebob, Patrick and the Fairly Odd Parents. I was going to cash in DH's priority club points, but for 25,000 per night I'd rather pay cash. The rooms do look very nice though.

We'll be there June 29 and 30. Then we head over to Disney. I did see that they have shuttles for Universal, Sea World and Disney.

My kids are 4, 6 and 7 and they are all looking forward to it. In our area the commercials are on constantly in the early morning 7-7:30 am. The kids have it on while they are getting ready for school.

They are really excited about the pools and theming. We'll do the character breakfast and the Nick nighttime entertainment. It looks fun and something different. Last year we spent three nights at HRH and did Universal before we did Disney. We're trying to do something different each year for a few days before our long vacation. Whoever gets there first post and report and let the rest of us know how it is. Thanks.
