The soccer ball, what is your first reaction when seeing one ️?

My first reaction is, since I remember different sizes of soccer ball-#3, #4, #5-I speculate on which size it is-or if it's a non-regular size. But I also quickly react by remembering so very many ways soccer affected my life-both boys played from 5 yo thru high school, DS #1 was all-district. DH and both DSs were certified referees-DH saved his refereeing money one year to surprise me with my first solo WDW trip. I'll never forget that!

The clock goes up instead of down, the extra time is the time added back due to stoppages.

That's an American thing for youth sports and it's slowly dieing out in youth soccer programs as soccer academy programs grow.

Had no idea people have 'reactions' to a piece of sports equipment. Much like seeing a basketball/baseball/golf ball/football/tennis ball...........who cares???

Most every other thought, we have discussed before. Most random.

Flashing back to foggy November Saturday mornings chalking a field at 6 am when my daughter was playing.

Professional soccer teams have been successful here for 50 years, until the leagues they were affiliated with went bankrupt.

Wondering what will happen here in Sacramento with our team, its new stadium, new owners. As always, they draw well. Voters said no in recent weeks to $90 million in public funding to assist in construction, and the new owner, an Indian tribe, didn't even flinch. They are moving forward building the stadium, and while the City tries other options, EVERYONE knows $90 million is chump change to the owners, an Indian tribe with a casino. And then, will Sacramento get an MLS team?

Wondering about the future of youth soccer here. Five clubs merged into one due to declining participation and Park districts are repurposing soccer fields.
