I can't figure out why the other divers left him behind. Seems a little strange.

He was on the Today show this morning, along with the leader on the Boy Scout boat. What's amazing is that after the Scouts picked him up the Coast Guard came and took him BACK to the dive boat!

He did say he "had a few words" for that dive boat captain but no doubt would have MORE to say to him...and rightly so!

If he was only 400 feet down current from the dive platform couldn't he have swam back to the boat? He only attempted the dive for 15 minutes, I would think there was plenty of time for him to swim back.

Oh, well, as long as he's ok. Thank goodness for Boy Scout's and their training.
