Good one! They always have funny signs at that place. We used to live just around the corner from there. :)

Too true. I think Hayley Wickenheiser should be allowed to play for the men next time!!! :thumbsup2 :lmao:

That is an excellent sign. Don Cherry blasted the women for playing so hard against every single team. Looks like they know how to win and we should put the ladies' coach on the men's bench next time!

Ya the men had a great team of individual players and that is why they lost they didn't play as a team barring a few guys that clicked. I mean come on in teh Russia game Iginla and Sakic on a 2 on 1 the russian D was playing the pass to deep and Sakic was wide open but Iginla chose to shoot bad move really. Also Nash who played a Rick Nash game not a team Canada game was constantly out of position same with McCabe he was the worst choice on the team he finnished a -3 0 goals 0 assists and 18 minutes on penalties most on the team.

The sign should read "Don't send a professional to do an amateurs job" There was no heart or guts played there at all. Just a nice vacation..........

Very true and after 2010 I think they should send the world juniour teams to compete at the Olympics that way it is back to an ameture representation and many of the kids on the juniour team will not make it far in the NHL so why not give them the glory of representing their country at the Olympics.

Im Olympic soccer I think you are allowed two players over the age of 23 everyone else must be under.

Canada and the US could play a light schedule in the AHL, in the year of the Olympics, where the points gained by the AHL teams count for them. Games only on weekends and practice during the week, I would think a bunch of NHL GM's would love to see some of their prospects get that kind of attention.

But again they are still pro's being paid to play hockey I would prefer the world juniours or go back strictly to a National team like they used to. I still think the world juniours idea would be great to see I am going to send Hockey Canada an e mail about that idea.
