Does anyone know of any nicer restaurants where we could go for dessert only?

Does anyone know which restaurants would not allow us to use a table for dessert only?

Thanks, again!

We've done this in the past. Two years ago, we had dessert in the Castle. My DD is 28 and hadn't been to WDW since she was 13 and wanted to see the inside, but didn't want lunch. We had a late ADR, around 2:30. We have an ADR for Coral Reef for dessert this year at 2:30 for dessert. My granddaugter is 3 1/2 and I thought it would be a nice break from the heat since we are going in August. I know some people don't think you should do this, but we always leave at least a 20% tip or more. No one from Disney has ever told us we can't do this, so until I here from someone, we will be trying places for dessert. Have a great time on your trip!!!

My mom and sister were refused a table at CA Grille for just dessert. They were allowed, however, to sit in the bar area. I guess because it was around fireworks time and they don't want people hogging a table for a $20 tab. Understandable, IMO.

I don't think most places care, though, esp in the afternoons when business is slow. Disney Dining can't tell you whether or not it's allowed but I would make an ADR and just ask when I checked in. Each restaurant is different.

Have fun!

You cannot get dessert only at V&A, as it is a fixed price meal. (Actually, if you only wanted dessert they would probably do it, but you would still have to pay the full price.)

Actually, if you go into any restaurant to a table and after putting in your drink order tell the server you want to order dessert only they cannot throw you out. However, if you went into CG at 7:30, for example, and tried to order desert only and linger all the way to Wishes! at 9:00 you might have a problem.

Thanks for the help guys!
I was thinking of dessert and drinks at either Citrico's or Narcoossee's around 9:30 - I don't care about seeing fireworks, I"m trying to find out what the latest times are . . .
Thanks!

My three favorites were the Guiness Cake at Rose and Crown, the Raspberry Sorbet and the Chocolate Moose at Le Cellier. I can't imagine either of them having a problem with dessert only, but dont expect a patio table during Illuminations!!

Raglan Road for the Bread & Butter Pudding! Absolutely delicious dessert in a beautiful setting. Great music & Irish dancing in the evenings too.

I've never done just dessert, but often do just apps or apps & desserts. I make an ADR, usually late, like you are doing & be sure to tip my server well. It's never been a problem. Like others have said, as long as your not tying up a table for hours to see Wishes or Illuminations & just getting dessert, no one will care. You are a paying guest just like everyone else.
