My nanny is going out there for a week to see her boyfriend and needs a nice hotel to stay in. Any suggestions???

Probably the closest place to stay is in Dumfries/Quantico...
Hotels there: Days Inn, Comfort Inn, Econolodge, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn...
she can check the Trip Advisor website for reviews and go off the hotel's website for prices (not Trip Advisor's, they always list the prices higher than what you can get them for). Does she have acess to a AAA membership for a room discount?

I wish I could recommend a good hotel, but we used to live there, so no need to stay in a hotel...
I'm assuming her bf is stationed at Quantico? If so, maybe he can get her a military discount...

Maybe someone else has good advice too...
HTH!~

The surrounding area right outside of the base is pretty run down and I would not stay there. North of Quantico there are a few brand new hotels. They are in Dumfries and they are RIGHT off the interstate. I forget the name of the brand new one but it looks nice. I'm sure you could do a search on hotels in Dumfries. It is located on Rt. 234 and has an IHOP in the parking lot and a Cracker Barrel across the street.

I figured it out--it's the Holiday Inn Dumfries - Quantico Center. When the link came up in google, there were 39 reviews on it.
