Niagra Falls here we come!!!!!

When DH and I vist we tend to eat Breskfast at perkins. You can also do the buffut at Sherton but it's a bit pricy. the casino is nice but i've only been in that one and one in washington state. they might even have remodeled the casino since i was in it last. I have taken fudge back but I'm not sure if it's really allowed since it's food. I've never even thought about it!!! You can also check out www.casinonigara.com It has links to lots places in Area. Also if anyone would like to see pictures I took last year feel free to email/pm me.

Dear Crazyme5kids,

This is just my opinion, but I do think that 5 days is waaaay too much time to spend at the Falls. It is a very small city. If you have never been to Toronto...I would definitely include that in my plans. Toronto is soooooo beautiful & sooooooo clean. (Or at least it was when I was there last!)

As another poster mentioned that Niagara-on-the-Lake is another breathtaking place to visit. So quaint & so picturesque. We have always stopped there on the way back from Niagara Falls (well, except for the time we had the fire incident at the hotel ~ then I wanted to be home ASAP, & close to my OB/GYN!) We usually stop at a market & pick up lunch meats, cheeses, bread, fruit, olives, beverages (chips & cookies for the kids) & we head out to Niagara-on-the-Lake for a Picnic right by the water. They have picnic tables & we've done that in May so it should be perfect weather.

You will have a wonderful time & just the sound of the falls, is so awesome!

I also think that 5 days is to long to spend in Niagra Falls. My DF use to live there on the NY side. So I spent plenty of time up there and 2 days is enough if you are only staying on the Canada side. But if you try both sides you might be okay. On the NY side try Fort Niagra. I've been there twice it is quite interesting. The Cave of Winds is nice too. And if you like subs go to Davids it is on the NY side 2nd exit off grand island turn right then it is down passed Target and Tops on the left . Don't forget the Maid of the Mist it's the best. :)

I think you should DEFINATELY make a trip up to Toronto. There are a lot of great things to do here. You could check out ALL the stores in the Eaton Centre. Take in a "broadway" show, go to the Royal Ontario Museum, or even vist Castle Loma. You will definately find a lot to do, and shince you are going to be rather close...why not. You will love it here!

If you haven't seen the Broadway production of "The Lion King" it's on a indefinate run in Toronto. Mama Mia is also there. Both excellent shows and well worth it. Try www.toronto.com for more info about T.O.
Also if you are wanting to go up the CN Tower, go first thing in the am as the line gets very long later in the day (can be 2hrs+)

Thanks for more suggestions. I promised my husband that this trip would be a little more low key and relaxed LOL. I don't think we will go to Toronto (although you never know) this time. We will do stuff on both sides of the falls, and it sounds like some of the parks will be nice to do some light hiking in as well.
My husband always jokes that he needs a vacation from my vacations, and that his travel work scheduals are easier than a trip with me!
