Hi, we just got in from Wonderland ~ this was my 24th trip this year! We bought season's passes for the first time and we love them! We started going in May and it seems we visit a couple times a week. We live about 25 minutes away! YOU MUST MUST MUST MUST MUST SEE "ERUPTION" I TELL YOU ~ I THINK IT'S BETTER THAN ILLUMINATIONS! We saw it for the first time last Tuesday night and we are going again next Tuesday night.
WONDERLAND TIPS:
Get there about 15 minutes before opening and view the maps and make a game plan!
Most rides are DEAD first thing in the morning.
If you plan to visit the water park, it opens at 11am ~ get there about 5 minutes past 11am so you don't get into the initial rush, but the water park is still fairly empty. We do that all the time and get to do about 10 slides! (there are 16 slides, wave pool, water playground, lazy river, kiddie area and more!)
If you can, PACK A LUNCH! The price of most food is too $$$$ (although the pizza price isn't too bad $4.99 for an individual) The lines for food are HUGE!
Take your own water bottle, water is $2.49 a bottle at the park.
Most people head for the BIG POPULAR RIDES or go towards the centre of right side of the park. If you go left you will get the "old fashion" type rides and they are EMPTY! Also TOP GUN is to the left and it's a great ride!
Wonderland is a ROLLER COASTER MECCA enjoy!
SIMILAR TO DISNEY
Here are some Wonderland Rides that are similar to Disney (in my opinion)
Splash Mtn. = Timberwolf Falls (only the falls part)
Space Mtn. = Thunder Run (in the dark but no dips)
Buzz Lightyear = Scoopy Doo Ride
Tower of Terror = Drop Zone (I like ToT way better)
Any 3D Movie Ride = Any 3D Movie Ride
Spin-o-rator = Tea Cups
