Niagara Falls Advice Please

DH keeps telling me that we can do the falls in one day. Is that true? It's hard to imagine.

Define "do the falls".
We did MotM, Journey Behind the Falls, the movie by JbtF, and the rapids boardwalk easily in a day. (We started right when MotM opened.)

There's tons more stuff to do though. We did the Falls museum, Ripleys (not worth it, but it was my son's choice), and the Aerocar the next day. Also the Oh Canada, Eh dinner show (which is corny as heck, but we liked it. Check the internet for specials. We got one for kids free- any time I can feed my teen for free, that is a bonus, lol.)

There was still plenty more we could have done. (I really wanted to do Cave of the Winds, but we just didn't have time. The crossing was very busy when we were there, although you're just going over the bridge, it would have 1/2 hour + each way waiting in line.)

Usually the first 4* hotel that comes up on Hotwire for Niagara falls Canada is Sheraton on the falls. The price will be about half, maybe a little over half of the rate you'll find anywhere else.
Any 4* you pick in that area will be very nice from Hotwire.
I've booked through Hotwire and stayed in Niagara falls many times.

We did this and we didn't love it. The service was beyond horrible and the food was just OK and overpriced. I put it in the itinerary for DH, who loves wings of all varieties, but he was not impressed.

It is kid-friendly, but my kids didn't like it. No free refills on drinks, and the food was not great. But it is probably worth doing once. I did notice there were no local cars in the parking lot when we went, though.
