Back at the beginning of the season, I joined an NFL Survivor Pool that was being run by one of the guys here in our office.
I lost in week 1 with my Carolina pick. But, the rules state that we can buy back in during the first 3 weeks of the season. So I bought back in. I told the guy running it that it was my goal to go from the first one out to the ultimate winner.
Well...yesterday, 9 more people were knocked out when Jacksonville lost. And that leaves just 6 people still in it. I'm one of them since Indianapolis came through for me. And of the 6, I'm the only female still standing.
The rules also state that you can only choose each team once throughout the season. So this coming weekend, I think I'm leaning towards the Steelers.
Keep your fingers crossed for me. If I win, it's close to $600 which would be very nice to add to our Disney fund!
