Tomorrw morning we are attending our first Strictly Disneyana Show (NFFC).
I am really looking forward to it!
Any tips for looking or buying? What is a show generally like? Rows of tables?
I joined NFFC just to enter before the general public.
:cheer2:

Oh Barbara have fun!

I have been going to the public day in CA for the last 5 yrs.

If it's like that there will be many tables. I always went around once or twice to see what each had and noted prices of items I wanted and then went back to shop.

You should have a great time.

It was good. We expected a larger show. But there was a good selection.
I bought some real cute pins for cheap. :thumbsup2 :cheer2:
What pin person doesn't love that?
My main expense was a framed pin set I always wanted to have, and never thought I would own:
Pin 736: Animal Kingdom Tree of Life 13-pin set

I paid $75.

Plus I was pleased to find this in a box of pins:
Pin 5383: WDW - Swan Resort (Peach) for $5.
I thought it was one I "needed". But I was wrong. So now I "need" Pin 5384: WDW - Dolphin Resort (Teal) AND Pin 107: Dolphin Resort. :confused3 :rotfl2:

What was the dates for this show and when and where was it held??? I did not here anything about this show :sad2:

The show and sale was held March 11th & 12th in Orlando, Florida.

The next Disneyana show & sale in Orlando is in October.
There is also one in Anaheim California in July.
I think there was talk about one in Ohio as well.

You can read more about the NFFC and the Strickly Disneyana Show & Sales

NFFC Show & Sales

That is why I didn't hear about it, it was in Florida. I only check Intercot West for show information.

I hope I can make it to the next one in Disneyland...Not an easy trip to make from Hawaii.

Thanks for the info.,

I just looked at the website and it hasn't been updated in quite a while.

You can get more informaton by emailing info@nffc.org

What we are looking at is actually going to be September 30/October 1. Thoughts are more to make it into a Convention as opposed to a straight Show & Sale. This way NFFC will have their S&S in Anaheim in January, a S&S in March or April in Orlando, The Anaheim Convention accross DL Anniversary in July and an Orlando Convention accross the WDW Anniversary.

Oh, I am going to be in Orlando the end of Sept until mid Oct and I will be alone the weekend of the 30-1st. Tell me how I would go about getting in to this convention. Do I have to join some club?
I probably won't make it to the pin event this year because I am bringing my grandson to WDW from Sept 26 till Oct 7 and I don't think I can sing a trip in early Sept. and again at the end of the month.
My Grandson's first trip to WDW is more important, sorry. But his mom and dad won't let me take him alone and they can't go until then.
Mike, let me know what I need to do to get into this convention. It sounds like fun. Peggie

I can shed some light on how this past one worked.

It was a two day weekend event. On Saturday, NFFC members were allowed in one hour earlier than the general public.

The show was not busy at all. There really were not that many guests while we were there. The vendors that were there had a nice assortment. But there were may 15 - 20 vendors is all.

In the CA show there are approx a 100, so I am told. And quite a few of the vendors at this past show were from CA.

We certainly got the watered down version. It would be nice to think that next time we get a lot larger show. Although I spent plenty on what was there. :rotfl2:

We paid $4 a person to enter. I think the general public was a $1 more.
