By my calculations, there are about 112 days left until June 9.

That's a good idea! I just did - she said "well, we did open up last year on Feb 17, so it should be soon; probably by the middle of next week."

I've called a handful of times in the last couple of weeks and have had the same answer every time, they don't know when the schedule will extend. I called this morning on my way to work, and the CSR said she didn't know when, that i should keep checking back, (uh huh, ya think?)....then she said to check again this evening. maybe just a guess on her part, who knows!!!

Hopefully, it will be today!!!! Good luck to all...

I have a $67 credit with Southwest that needs to be used by February 23 or I lose it.

Well, I have to leave at 3 to go do Girl Scouts - so if it is today, it will probably be about 3:10, when I have no hope of getting tickets!

I wonder if the president's day holiday will affect the release.

There are a couple of silly threads in Theme Parks where one person trashed Tour Guide Mike, supposedly trying to get a refund (as though a DIS message board was the proper venue).

Now it looks like Bubba's Mom is going to have to take some similar heat! Two straight days now, and her day of the week/time, then calendar date/time combos have not produced an end to Mr. Lightsticks on the SWA website. Where's my money back?

Is there a SWABMBI (Southwest Airlines Bubba's Mom's Booking Info) site to request my money back? This service just hasn't been up to par.

Oh, boy. I've really done it now, haven't I?

Does anyone remember them ever being released on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday? I sure dont.

Maybe today they will start a new trend, or maybe I was not looking when they did it.

You guys seem to be SW experts so I have a ? for you! If I purchase my tickets right when they are made available (I am going Dec. 8 - 16th) and a cheaper fair comes up, can I trade those tickets for the cheaper ones and have a credit of the difference, or do I have to totally purchase new tickets and cancel the old and have the entire first purchase as a credit? How long is a credit valid?

I get nervous that I will make a mistake when I am changing reservations so I go online and start the process of rebooking while calling SWA on the phone. Then they cancel right before I book so I can use the funds from the original purchase for the new tickets. Then I get a credit for my next trip!!!

I'm calling the FAA now, and placing a complaint under F.A.R. 70.1.5.6.7.222.5673456 which states: no cocky, arrogant or smug Mr./Mrs. Lightsticks. Someone needs to punch him in the tummy while he's holding those oh-so-impressive lightsticks above his head. His expression would be this: That would teach him wouldn't it?

You guys are all TOO funny!!! I can take the heat.....(I'm not usually in the kitchen and I am NOT a cold/snow/winter person, I am a heat/hot/summer person!) I will say, in my defense, I know for a fact that the previous 2 years were released on a Thursday. Here is how I can remember: At the times, I was only working 1 job and home Mon, Wed & Thurs. I worked Tues, Fri & Sat...... So, being home (part-time SAHM) I was a part of this "ritual" the past few years and "glued" to the computer on Thursday at 2pm-ish. I now work a different job those 3 days of the week since DS is now in first grade. (And, if you're wondering if I still work the job I was working, the answer is yes...I do work 6 days a week now ...between the two jobs. )
So, go ahead...lay it on me.....I can take it!!!
I am still for that for us all!!! But, ya gotta admit, it is "fun" being here going thru this together!!
