Well, I booked with a AAA discount yesterday and I asked the CM if he heard of any summer discounts coming out and he said No, because they fill the resorts without discounts in the summer (really?). I just rolled my eyes, but I hope this is not correct.

I rolled my eyes too. If they fill the rooms then why all the specials?? The FD pin for the summer is a dead give away that bookings are down. If they open this to the public then something is seriously wrong. We shall see.....

I have to agree. Plus, if those resorts are full, why are we hearing that the UK has been given the new discounts already. Unless of course it's a huge conspiracy to get all the Brits to come visit us.

Hi, we currently have (through Disney UK) 'dine for free' between 1 August and 18 November - CS if staying at a moderate, DDP if staying at a deluxe (you can also upgrade to deluxe for a pretty good rate), but no free dining if staying at a value resort.

This has been available for booking since last year (I booked it myself).

They're also offering 45% discount for stays at OKW or SSR, again this has been able to be booked since last year.

Disney UK doesn't offer general room discounts though (i.e. 30%-40%) for resorts such as Disney US, although on some dates they are offering 15% off for the Yacht & Beach Club resort. You have to stay a minimum of 5 nights to get the free dining, I believe also there is a way round it (if booking through an agent) for non UK residents to book

It's interesting my AAA agent told me that she has been hearing rumors for no free dining, per se, for October. However, she did say she was hearing some rumblings about some room type discount. We'll see....

Me too! I think I'm subscribed to every thread related to discounts for the timeframe I want to go to WDW...wouldn't want to miss anything...like we won't hear the collective woop of joy if a good offer comes out!

Well folks, good luck tomorrow. It will be the notable "Tuesday". Of course by the end of the week, we also have April coming around. Unfortuantely it's April first. I hope they don't pull some prank.
