I just got the latest email newsletter from Creating Keepsakes and it says that there will be THREE DAY SCRAP-A-THON!

Here's the info:

I just got that info in the mail today from QVC. Some of my things came in the mail from last week. It was so much fun last week, I hope they have some good deals next month! I feel like a kid a Christmas opening my packages. FUN FUN FUN!!!

Well, I guess if we can't be at WDW (or Disneyland) or on a DCL cruise, or at the Scrapbook Show in Orange County, CA....then shopping on QVC for scrapbook supplies is the next best thing to do

Holycow, are you coming all the way from Florida for the Scrapbook show? I'm supposed to be going, but I may be at a training session instead.

I just got my package of filmstrip transparencies. They look very cool and I can't wait to use them.

Yes, I am....I lived in So. Calif. (Irvine) for 27 years till DH dragged me to FL..LOL
For Christmas my best friend said wouldn't it be great if you could come to the SB show so I'm heading out there!

I'm glad they moved it to 2 halls this year...the first year was so cramped in just one. This will be the first time for me taking classes too so I'm excited about that!...We signed up for the Disney one.

Hope you can go....

I just got my 12 transparences today.they are really nice.....still am waiting for the stamps.

holycow, are you talking about the Scrapbook Expo? You do know that there are closer ones to you, right?


There is one in Tampa on April 29 and 30 and Orlando on August 26 and 27!

Yes, I do know!...LOL...you can never go to enough scrapbook shows right???? I usually go to the one in Orlando although I've never done any of the classes...just spent lots of money! lol

Oh no, not more scrapbook stuff on QVC! My packages have been rolling in this week. I think I have an addiction... To paper packs. I purchased several from QVC last week and if that didn't seem to be enough, when I was in Costco today, what did I see, a 200 pc package of cardstock for $12.99. Had to have it. Well, I guess if quilters can never have enough fabric, we can't have enough paper.

This is so perfect!! I am hosting a small family crop that very weekend at my parent's office and they have a large tv right at the front so we can crop and shop at the same time !! Thanks for the heads up!!

Someone tell me about the scrabook shows that ya'll are talking about. I think there was a HUGE one in Nashville last year but I couldn't make it. Is there a website I can go to? I live near Nashville so it'd be the best location for me.

The 2 shows I know of are the Memory expo and Scapbook expo...they do have web sites.

There is a Creating Keepsakes convention coming up in Nashville on March 11-12, 2005. Registration is already going on on-line. Here is the website:

The Scrapbook Expo is the one that I always go to. It is held in different cities throughout the year. The Atlanta show is usually held on Labor Day weekend... this year it is September 2 & 3. Unfortunately, this show does not come to Nashville, the Atlanta show would be the closest one to you.

Where do you live? I went to college in Nashville... Belmont University!

Thanks for the info on the CK show. I had heard there was one that wknd but wouldn't you know I can't make it?!?! DH's 50th (can't believe it!) b-day is 3/9 and I'm wanting to do something special for him that wknd. Thinking about a wknd to Gatlinburg just the 2 of us but don't if we can work that out. May just plan to take him out to a special dinner and then get a room at Opryland Hotel or something special like that. Maybe another one will come another weekend!

I live in Gallatin. Belmont is a great college! Especially for teachers, nurses and musical careers. One of my friend's husband went there several years ago but it was in the accounting field. What was your major?
