When was the last price increase in the park tickets?

Last year we purchased our tickets on one of the last days of the year because there was an anticipated price increase on Jan. 1. Has anyone heard of a price increase for January 2007?

Subscribing! I need the answer too! :thumbsup2

Last year they went up right after x-mas... i remember because i got mine and a few days later we went to get another pass and the price went up... i can't remember when they went up last... it was sometime late summer, early fall i think.... anyone remember???

Merry Christmas!!!

The last price increase was August 6th, 2006. I know this because I ran out and renewed my AP on the 5th, the last day of the old pricing. They raised them twice this year (the other increase was in January).

Yup, there were two price increases in 2006. However, that doesn't mean that they won't increase again soon. What we can rely on is that we won't hear about the price increase until a few days prior.

Do you have any idea how much the increase will be? We're planning on getting at least one AP, maybe two. Also, we'll be getting several 10 day hoppers, some with water parks and some without, since we've got a variety of ages and interests in our party. We won't be using them until summer, but I'm wondering if the increase will be significant enough that I should go ahead and try to get a ticket or two now, or if it's not that much, I'll just wait until closer to trip time. To those in the know, what has been the trend in the increases?

We should know how much the increase will be a few days prior to it coming into effect.

in the summer we went to the disney store to purchase park hoppers. it was about a week before our trip. we were going to go back to the disney store anyway so we waited. about 3 days before our trip we went back to purchase the park hoppers and we learned that the price has raised $50. not much but figure 5 people and 5x50 is $250 more than if we got our tickets before.

Thanks so much, guys! There will be 8 of us, so if it's as much as $50, that will be significant. Two of us are going back next December for 4 nights, so we're thinking we might get annual passes. Then, we'll take our next family trip before they expire next summer, thus getting our money's worth out of them. The younger people in the group will get water parks, too, and the older ones will just get regular park hoppers. I wish I had the money to get ALL the tickets now, but on a teacher's salary...not so easy. Maybe we can at least get two and save a little. Please do post as soon as you all find out the increase will really be here. I will be watching the posts carefully, or you can PM me. Your help is very much appreciated!

Your "best" deal is to get them "NOW"! They won't go into affect till you use them.
Go and register on mousesavers.com. They usually have a good discount, better than any others I've seen. Check out the site and also usually they have special prices thru thier sponsor and you will get notified by newsletter.:thumbsup2
