We announced this podcast cruise 15 months ago.
We asked the "early adopters" to trust us in that we wanted to do cool things on this cruise, but that details would be sketchy for quite a while.
We explained that
Disney Cruise Line has guests sailing each week for next bazillion weeks (back then it seemed like a bazillion weeks) so they are not really good about dealing with something happening 15 months from now....no matter how excited we might be.
We asked early guests to be patient and trust us.....and they did.
Even though this cruise has not left the dock, we are in the beginning phases of planning Cruise 2. This leaves us in the same situation that we were in 15 months ago. We have to ask you to just be patient and trust us.
We can not make any promises as to what will be included in the next cruise.
Will it be as cool as this one? We certainly hope so...as we aim to please.
Will it be exactly the same? I highly doubt it.....we want the folks from Cruise 1 to sign on for Cruise 2 and things fell into place that we hoped would, but never could have promised. That is always a wait and see kinda thing.
So to finish this up.....I will do the same thing I did 15 long months ago.
I will ask that you jump in with both feet and just be patient.
You ask if it can be "at least equal" or if "promises will be kept."
I think we have earned a well deserved reputation for being folks that dont do things in a small way. We have a sort of motto....."
Go Big or stay home."
With that being said....I would ask that you muster you faith and trust and decide to join us. If you cant do that, you will find yourself watching and envying thise that did.
Please keep in mind that all we will be able to give you is a date. Details will be scare for quite a while...just like this time.
