Hey all,

Hope everyone’s getting ready for back to school, football and all those other fine fall activities.

Starting to plan my next DVC trip and I think we’re going to try OKW, and in the pre-planning I stopped to think of all the things we want to do, but have yet to do at WDW.

Hard to believe, that even though with DVC we’ve gone more often, there’s still plenty on our to-do list. Take a look and let me know if you have a similar list.

Animal Kingdom
1.Conservation Station
2.Wildlife Express
3.The Boneyard
4.Fossil Fun Games

Epcot
5.Reflections of China

Magic Kingdom
6.Liberty Steamboat
7.Shootin Arcade
8.Tom Sawyer Island
9.Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
10.Keys to the Kingdom Tour
11.Try a Dole Whip!

Everything Else
12.Cirque de Soleil
13.Water Park - Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon
14.Miniature Golf at Winter Summerland or Fantasia Gardens
15.Hoop De Doo Review
16.Polynesian Dinner Show
17.Artist Point
18.California Grill
19.Yachtsman Steakhouse

Thanks to DVC, I don't have to try to do them all in one trip!

Take care,
Peace,

Wow - we've got a much longer list. But I will say that the Dole Whip - mmmmmmmmmm - gotta get you one of those!

We've done the waterparks once, and plan to on our next trip - very nice on a hot hot day.

One of the top things on our list - dinner at Canada - can never seem to get ADR there - next time we try right at 180 days! Very Merry Christmas is on the list too - but that time of year can sure burn points.

Animal Kingdom
1.Conservation Station - Check with Guest Services to see when they are doing procedures on animals. We've seen them examining a snake that ate a golf ball and an okapi that was losing weight for unknown reasons. It's great to watch them through the glass.
2.Wildlife Express - Done it. Love the trains.
3.The Boneyard - My kids loved the Boneyard when they were little, but we haven't been in several years.
4.Fossil Fun Games - Same as with the Boneyard.

Our "Yet-to-do's" in the AK:
Hmmmm...I don't think we have any.

Epcot
5.Reflections of China - Love this!

Our Yet-to-do's in EPCOT:
The kids & DH haven't seen the new versions of the Mexcio ride or Spaceship Earth yet and none of us have done the interactive exhibits at the end of SE.

Magic Kingdom
6.Liberty Steamboat - Nice and relaxing, especially on a crowded day.
7.Shootin Arcade - Gosh...I did this when I was a kid but I don't think my kids ever have.
8.Tom Sawyer Island - DS13's favorite place in the MK! We're looking forward to trying out the Pirate-themed version in Disneyland next month!
9.Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party - One word - FANTASTIC!
10.Keys to the Kingdom Tour - We haven't done any of the tours in any of the parks.
11.Try a Dole Whip! - You must try one! I like the float version myself.

Our "Yet-to-do's" in the MK:
  • Monsters Inc. Scream Floor
  • The kids & DH haven't seen the new version of the Haunted Mansion yet.

Everything Else
12.Cirque de Soleil - Amazing!
13.Water Park - Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon - I like TL for the atmosphere and BB for the slides.
14.Miniature Golf at Winter Summerland or Fantasia Gardens - Mini-golf is a "must-do" on each trip. We prefer Winter Summerland but like them both.
15.Hoop De Doo Review - Always great.
16.Polynesian Dinner Show - Thought this one was just so-so
17.Artist Point - Yum!
18.California Grill - "Yum!"
19.Yachtsman Steakhouse - We haven't done this one either.

Our misc. "yet-to-do's":
  • Any tour on property (DH & DD will be doing the Segway tour in January).
  • Dining at The Yachtsman Steakhouse, Citricos, Narcoosees, Victoria & Alberts, The Wave, the new Italian restaurant in EPCOT, the new Tusker House buffet, Yak & Yeti and the Turf Club.
  • Toy Story Mania
  • The Pirate/Princess Party
Thanks to DVC, I don't have to try to do them all in one trip!

Take care,

Great list! Thanks for sharing.

My next DVC trip is going to be Vero Beach! We've done it for two nights but week plan to stay for a week next June.

Our next DVC WDW we plan on going to the Food and Wine Festival in 2009 for the first time!

Things in still haven't done that I hope to:
-Dole Whip
-Hoop de Doo
-luau
-segway tour
-golf
-California Grill
-visit the GF
-rent a water sprite
-kitchen sink at B & C
-go when Christmas decoration are up
-keys to the kindgom tour
-Artist Point

Like you said, thanks to being a DVC member I will do all of these things...eventually!

BTW is just re-read your MK list and i haven't done any of those things either, but will! You'd think after 11 trips i would have..

When I see the "yet to do" lists from all of you, I realize there isn't much I haven't already done! Some multiple times! Conservation Station is one of our 'must see' things each trip. We are big animal lovers, and I like to go in the mornings when they are doing veterinary care. Great fun to watch. There are only a couple of things I have not done at AK...the boneyard and fossil fun, but then we don't have little kids.

At MK there are quite a few things we don't do, but again because there are no little ones along. Would you believe we have never done Dumbo?????:rotfl:

Thanks for the comments/posts, especially CraftyMouse.

I can't believe I forgot Toy Story Mania, well the kids were able to ride in June, just me and DW missed it last trip.

Peace,
G4L
