Newspapers at the Resorts?

Newspapers if staying at the Deluxe resorts?

Hey folks, so I know a while back they used to deliever a newspaper to every deluxe room in the morning...it would be outside your door each morning. Like a USAToday or an Orlando Sentinel

We've got a room at the Poly Conceirge and one Standard room at the WL....Will we have papers at our doorstep in the mornings?

Appreciate the insight.

On the Atrium Club floor of the Contemporary we have been getting USA Today by our room door. I also remember by the Cast Members desk where all the park maps were, they also had copies of the New York Times and Wall Street Journal that we could read.

If we wanted a copy of the Orlando Sentinal we would have to purchase it in the Sundries shop on the 4th floor.

And anyone else concur with this?

So WL is included in that right...its a deluxe right?

Yes the Wilderness Lodge is a Deluxe Resort, so you will be getting USA Today at you're door from Monday - Friday.

excellent...I remember a while back we used to get the Sentinel on Sundays...but maybe thats a figment of my imagination...While the USAtoday isn't a great paper, at least it is something to keep up with the news.

Yep - it used to be the Orlando Sentinel everyday - but then they switched to USA Today M-F.

Our first WDW resort stay wasn't until 1983. At that time, the paper was the Sentinel/7 days per week. About the time the USA Today started publication, it became the paper at WDW deluxe resorts. I don't remember if we got the Sentinel on Sat and Sun in those years. Then WDW switched back to the Sentinel 7/days per week for at least a few years and finally back to the USA Today not too many years ago now. No weekend paper these days although the gift shops do carry them for purchase.

How about the Boardwalk Inn?

I never stayed there, however I would assume since it's a Deluxe Resort all the guests get a USA Today paper at their door.
