Ok, here we go with week 3 in the newspaper contest. I know most of the answers except two of them. It is about MGM this week. The two questions are:

1. What name appears as the manufacturer on the tv sets in the '50's Prime Time Cafe?

2. What is so unique about the plane in The Great Movie Ride?

I think the TV's are RCA's, Disney, or Crosley, but not sure. Anyone just eat there? I ate there in October, but for the life of me, can't remember.

Hi!

The name on the TVs is actually "Disney"

And, despite rumors to the contrary, the plane in the GMR is NOT the actual plane that was used in the filming of Casablanca. It is a long-standing myth. (although that might be what they're looking for). The plane is actually a real Lockheed 12A bought by Disney and chopped it in half. The front of the plane is used in "The Great Movie Ride," while it's back-half was put on display in the Studios Backlot Tour, and was also used as a prop in the dense forests of the "Jungle Cruise" in the Magic Kingdom!

Hope that helps! :teeth:
