Hi Girls!

I finally just finished my Newsletter and I love how it came out but now I don't know how to get it printed economically? To send it to Staples it was 132.00!:scared1: (It's 8 pages in color)

Has anyone used an online printing service?

There has to be options, right?:confused3

Thanks!
Kelli:wave2:

Staples qouted me $126 for 25 copies of my newsletter and that was about the cheapest I found! I ended up buying some 'bright white' injet paper, a new color cartridge and printing mine myself! It cost me about $40 including the new color cartridge but I think they turned out great. I have a Dell injet printer that's nothing special; what really made the difference was using the bright white paper. :)

The best price I was able to get was from a local print shop called Documart. Stores like Stapes, Office Depot and Office Max have very little price flexibility except for "we'll match any other price". But a local print store may be able to work with you a little more.

I was able to get mine down to roughly $3.00 each. It's 8 pages - full-color printed booklet style on glossy 11 x 17 paper and "saddle stapled":

I just went in and explained what I wanted to do, and the budget I wanted to work with, and just asked if they could make it work . . . and they did! I also mentioned the company I worked for since they send a lot of print jobs to Documart. I have no shame. DF insisted these look really nice :)

My brother called the other day after he received his Save the Date package and said "I wondered if I was being invited to a wedding or being sold a timeshare . . . glossy brochures and all . . . " :rotfl:

ROFL! :rotfl:

Seriously love the STDs Andreah!! :thumbsup2

I highly suggest getting as many email addresses for your guests as possible. I did this for our newsletters and it was a life saver. Plus a lot of people will only want to glance at it, so you might as well not waste the cost on printing them.

This way, I only had to print off like 6 copies for guests who don't use the computer. I then printed these in black and white on my computer at home :thumbsup2 I sent out 6 newsletters over the course of a year and there was no way I was going to pay for all of those copies!

Plus factor in your postage costs - I love the newsletter idea, I had originally planned to do several, but then I did a website instead and just sent out postcards 'promoting' it - I had postcards printed at Vistaprint for cheap.

Now that I mention it, any chance you could use Vista Print?

I did one newletter and had it printed at Kinko's. It was expensive but I had them shrink it down and make it like a booklet. It ended up being much cheaper that way.
