Here is a little bit regarding this marathon weekend. Brazilian runner dominated the full marathon.

I was at DHS this morning until about noon. Not very busy the marathon was going through the park so that made it seem a little busier than it was. ToT and RnRc were 10-20 minute waits TSMM was 40. Warmest day of marathon weekend. We left at noonish and have been sitting outside ESPN club at the boardwalk watching the packers vs Cowboys game.

Back to DHS after the packer win! Had a great dinner at 50s prime time our server was fantastic. We left after that. This trip ends tomorrow and it's interesting reflecting on it. I came with my aunt and uncle and my grandparents. All five of us on the dining plan and at POR. My grandparents were regulars from about 1974-sometime in the 90s. My aunt and uncle haven't been since 1983. Neither couple had a problem with magic bands or fastpasses it did take a while for my grandpa to understand it but he was fine with it. My aunt found DHS quite boring. We all found the Biergarten in Germany to be the worst meal on our trip yet is wasn't terrible just not for us. I will be writing a trip report soon if you want to follow along. DHS was not nearly crowded at all. Marathon weekend transportation was very good. I'll be back to starting my regular news updates once I get home tomorrow. Really the only downside is I have to go back to 10-20 degree weather in wisconsin.

I think the cowboys might have gotten jobbed...


I'm not sure that ball ever touched the ground...and he was reaching for the goalline any way.

Not that I like the cowboys at all... But limpy Rogers is probably just dead meat in the northwest now.

Glad to hear you had a great trip, but I'm surprised about your Biergarten experience. We went twice in December and loved it both times, the entertainment and the food were great. Well the Cowboys got lucky with Detroit last week so. I'd still take a limpy Rodgers over a healthy romo and romo is a wisconsin guy born and raised. Never was a hockey fan but definitely college basketball.

Our Biergarten experience wasn't bad we liked the band/show and our server was good I think it was just we aren't a extremely into German food. Well this was my first time at 50s and our server Janice was really great she seemed better than the rest of the ones I could hear.

I was just sick of seeing and hearing about Chris Christie at the games but I don't want to bring in politics to this. My Packers will have a rough time in Seattle next week.

Well... They have more and more "subscribers"... So it seems to make sense.

But I never have gotten there... Wednesday seems to be a bad day... Dead in the middle of
Weekends all but eliminated "short stay" types. And those are good park days as well. We DVCers typically hate "resistance" In parks if it can be avoided.

Back to reality for me today. After just recently experiencing an under construction AK. I will say things are really starting to come along. The vertical construction on avatar is really progressing and that will be quite the large show building.
