Parades are sort of a standard tool for distracting and managing crowds. Do you think the finished layout of DAK will somehow prohibit one from returning?

I also tend to think Fantasmic has kind of cornered the market on "parade" thinking as it doesn't clog up the main artery's. The crowd sits somewhere off street and thoroughfare whilst at the end of the show, all the parade characters calmly float by and wave at all the little and big Diskids. I know early reports of ROL are about showing lights and figures on a fog or cloud over the lagoon, but wonder if at the end, a parade of characters might float around the show as well?

I suspect we'll see a parade return in the next 24 months at DAK. Could be wrong.
As construction ramps up at DHS, Christmas is liable to be the least of their concerns.

I doubt a parade is going to return to DAK - as Rteetz said, the layout of the park (A giant circle around the tree, and another smaller circle cutting through Asia) isn't conducive to holding the parade. It clogs up the main walkways, forces the food kiosks and shops along the route to shut down, and makes navigating a nightmare.

Just like the Epcot parade used to be.

November Jim Hill and Len Testa Disney Dish Podcast musing

Jim knew about Club Villain a week before announcement. $99 as we know, limited number of tickets, only Saturdays

A new Hard ticket event for Halloween will come to DHS post construction mess in the next couple years.
(This I can see happening, villains unleashed has been incredibly successful and needs to be done on more than just one night.)

DHS construction starts January 2016 with Star Wars and toy story at least done by end of 2018.
(This is completely based on the permits that were just filed last week)

Disney continues to tap into luxury market with things like club villain
(No duh)

Tomorrowland Terrace becomes Astronomers Club, an adventurers club type concept that was originally for the 1994 New Tomorrowland project.
(This one is interesting. Disney has definitely been doing a lot of changes to the food in MK, with tortuga tavern and pecos bill menu changes and then the soon to be opened skippers canteen. I can see it happening but I think it might be more tame than the original 1994 version.)

Jim says third land or area in DHS will include indoor version of RSR and a Monstropolis area with the long rumored door coaster and a restaurant.
(I've seen a lot of people say that cars is dead for DHS but monstropolis concepts and ideas are live and well.)

Tree of life will be included in rivers of light, choreography is included in show and being done by a Bollywood specialist, show starts on shore and moves onto the water, show will be a different type ethnic show nothing like Disney currently does, opening March/April 2016.
(All known from the audition notice, opening date has been rumored somewhere between March and May for a while.

Avatar pushing to open Decmeber 2016.
(Jim was saying a few months ago they were behind schedule but now suddenly they are pushing for late 2016. I'll stick with 2017 on that)

Jimmy Fallon attraction will essentially be you in the audience participating in games and things he does on his show, unsure if it's a ride or simply an attraction.

Tower of terror billboard thing on world drive will be changed to a Star Wars marquee
(Not unexpected I guess)

Muppets fate lies in the Tv show on ABC
(A lot of people have been saying this.)

I agree that Avatar is very likely opening until 2017. That way they have something new to promote from 2016 through probably 2019/20 (Frozen, Avatar, Toy Story and then Star Wars). I don't think Pandora is behind schedule, though. The progress over the last few months has been very noticeable, and we're still over one year away.

Any rumors of when the A&E M&G hall in the former Norway Pavilion is going to open?

I just went back and did a check on this as I listen to his podcast with Len Testa. I don't mind listening and am not as bothered by Jim Hill as some other people are on the interwebz. That being said, he needs to clarify things a bit more when he makes a statement like this. This is from another website that tracks Disney rumors (WDWThemeParks.com) -

: On Episode #81 of the Unofficial Guide's Disney Dish with Jim Hill, Jim mentions that the Avatar project is 8 months behind schedule.

Now I understand that schedules can change and all, but when under six months ago you make a statement that the project is 8 months behind, and now you go on and indicate that they are shooting to open 4-6 months earlier than originally hinted, I think you need a bit more of an explanation. This is the type of approach that hurts the credibility of the 'insider' moniker.

Exactly my point. That same site gives credit to him for getting a few things right before anyone within the last two years so he has gotten things right. Jim just has the problem of changing things like this rather quickly which doesn't earn him the best reputation.

Former Norway Pavilion? I don't think the Norway pavilion is going anywhere, just Maelstrom is gone, and if I am not mistaken, the M&G area is a new construction. Norway will still be there.
