Neither rumor nor news but I'll be in WDW from Sunday to next Friday. Try to post any observations and whatnot if I have a chance when I get back from the parks
There is also the tony Baxter discovery bay concept for Disneyland that never got built. So many things that are still sitting in imagineering that could be done. Ideas never die. For example Walt had the idea to build a mine train ride for Disneyland. You also have the Venetian, Asian, Mediterranean and Persian resorts that were never built in WDW. WestCot, Port of Disney, Disneys America, etc. you'll see though that a lot of these concepts weren't built how they were intended but pieces of them are present in the parks. As much as Jim hill gets flack as a rumor monger, he wrote an excellent series of articles on it. Also the book '40 years of magic' written by several notable Disney contributors also had a nice piece on it. Book was well worth the read.
Sorry for the off topic but the saga of western river interests me quite a lot
Construction photos would be greatNeither rumor nor news but I'll be in WDW from Sunday to next Friday. Try to post any observations and whatnot if I have a chance when I get back from the parks
Definitely gonna see if I can get shots of the adventureland veranda and the hub (we'll see how well my droid wants to cooperate). Also curious to see how I react to DHS in person rather than just imagining the vacantness in my headConstruction photos would be great
I know the unbuilt hotels has a section in that aforementioned book. What I think is so interesting about that is that there's room on bay lake still if they wanted to achieve those concepts. I think its just interesting with all those concepts to see what those incredibly creative people can cook up when allowedThere is also the tony Baxter discovery bay concept for Disneyland that never got built. When allowed is the key thing look at some of the things coming to Shanghai. That raft ride looks amazing and so does their version of pirates.I know the unbuilt hotels has a section in that aforementioned book. Precisely. I think we get hints of that like with the mine train. Obviously too short but I think its on the right track. I'm hoping when DHS gets the real revamp rolling we can see some innovative and mind blowing thingsWhen allowed is the key thing look at some of the things coming to Shanghai. Apparently Bob wanted marvel and Star Wars in there.Any reason for Disney to cancel Toy Story Playland at Shanghai? I'm guessing they're trying to keep Hong Kong and Shanghai as two different experiences.
I want to see how many of these live action announcements actually get made because there has to be like 20 of them at least.http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/aladdin-live-action-prequel-works-808895
More live action film news.....can't get enough of it. This time: a Genie-centric prequel to Aladdin, presumably leading into a proper Aladdin story.

Well they do have the Pirates league.I wonder if Disney allows boys to do Bibbidi Bobbidi. Probably, they've always been very cool when it comes to different types of people. I think it be fun to see grownups do it as well. Picture seeing a full grown hairy man in a dress with pixie dust in his hair and beard.

I know it's just another option, I can't say I've seen a boy in BBB tho. I have seen boys and girls becoming pirates tho.Yeah, but not every child or adult wants to be a pirate. I do, that'd be awesome. (LOL) But there are plenty of other people who want to be a queen or princess.
